What is Gift Aid?

Gift Aid = more money for FIBOT

Quite simply, Gift Aid means that for every £1 you give us - whether in the form of membership subscriptions or donations - FIBOT can claim a further 28p from HM Revenue & Customs.

Click on the link at the bottom of this page to sign up to Gift Aid now!

Gift Aid helps raise much needed funds for FIBOT - and it's so simple to do!

As a registered charity, FIBOT can reclaim the tax on your membership subscriptions and donations if you are a UK taxpayer.

To make your Gift Aid declaration NOW, click on the link on this page. Once you have made a declaration, it will cover ALL your donations and membership subscriptions from 6 April 2001 (when Gift Aid first started) until you cancel your declaration. If you have already made a declaration, thank you very much your money is working even harder for us!

Look at the Gift Aid FAQ page to find the answers to some of the most common questions about Gift Aid.

It has been announced in the Chancellor of the Exchequer's budget that for the next three years, charities will be able to continue claiming Gift Aid at 28 pence for every pound of support. It had previously been announced that the rate would decrease to 25 pence, so it's great news for our conservation work and our supporters who use Gift Aid to make their support work harder.
