Prices 2026
The cost of accommodation in 2026 is being held at the same prices as 2025 with the addition of a second Migration Special in spring in addition to one in October. Friends of Fair Isle will be able to book for 2026 from 1st August 2025, with general booking starting on 15th August. The Observatory will be open from 20th April to 31st October 2026.

We can offer accommodation to guests with special access or mobility requirements on the ground floor.
All quoted prices are per person per night. Prices are inclusive of pick-up and drop-off from the plane or boat, full-board meals (breakfast, light lunch and evening meal – set menus and times), lounge and comprehensive library, access to in-house ornithological expertise and Ranger Service, access to our bird news WhatsApp group, bird ringing demonstrations, and occasional entertainment events such as music, quizzes, talks etc.
A non-refundable deposit of 10% of your total bill is payable when confirming your booking, with the balance due 8 weeks before your visit. We would prefer you to make a bank transfer to reduce our transaction costs, but you can also pay using PayPal.
