Good Shepherd timetable

Due to essential major pier works at Grutness on the Shetland Mainland over the next few months, the Fair Isle ferry 'Good Shepherd' is unable to provide the usual summer service to Grutness and will be sailing to Lerwick instead. The journey time will therefore change from approximately 2.5 to 4.5 hours as Lerwick is farther away.
Due to additional sailing time, the ferry will be operating a reduced summer schedule, sailing on Tuesdays and Thursdays only as per the timetable below:
Departing Fair Isle at 07.00 arriving Lerwick approx. 11.30Departing Lerwick at 13.30 arriving Fair Isle approx. 18.00
